Potchie, You were our joy, our comfort, our baby.

Papa’s walking buddy, TV companion, and our source of unconditional love.

Eighteen years… and still it feels like yesterday when you first came into our lives. You were more than just a dog — you were our baby, our comfort zone, and our sunshine on the darkest days.
You filled our home with laughter, your tail wagging like a little flag of happiness every time you saw us. You were Papa’s TV buddy, his walking partner, and his most loyal friend. I can still see you sitting beside him, eyes full of love, like you knew you belonged right there.

You taught us what pure, unconditional love looks like — no conditions, no expectations, just love in its truest form. Even now, though our hearts are heavy and our eyes still well up with tears, we know you’re happy, running free where there’s no pain, maybe even still watching over Papa from above.
Thank you, Potchie, for every tail wag, every playful bark, every quiet moment curled up next to us. We’ll carry you in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Run free, our Dug, our baby. We love you forever. ❤️🐾

Love,
Your Family
