🤍 Our Story – Always Home, For Wolffy
Purest Shelter was not created as a business. It began with love—and loss. We were three graduate students in Seattle, sharing a small apartment and an even bigger love for animals. Among us were two cats: Dodo, gentle and quiet… and Wolffy, wild, curious, and full of life.

Wolffy loved the outdoors. Every night, he would slip out and return at dawn, jumping back through the window to nap in his favorite sunny spot. He always came home. Until one winter night… he didn’t.
We searched everywhere. When we finally found him, he was badly injured. The vet told us there was nothing more we could do.

Steve held Wolffy in his arms as he peacefully said goodbye.Because we were far from home, cremation was the only choice. Wolffy came back to us in a small urn—quiet, heavy, and heartbreaking. We couldn’t let that be the end.So we built a wooden box. Inside, we placed his ashes, his favorite toy, and the little things that still carried his scent. We set it by the window—his window—where the sunlight still touched him every morning. We called it Wolffy’s Shelter.
